If you’re arriving from another Cycladic island like Milos, there are direct ferry connections to Folegandros during the tourist season. Depending on the vessel, these ferries usually take 50 minutes to a few hours.
Remember that there may not be a daily direct ferry route to your next chosen island. Folegandros is an island with little tourist traffic, so there are fewer ferries.

However, I would not depend on taxis due to their limited availability. I almost missed my ferry because they were all occupied, and that was during the shoulder season. If you need a pickup or drop-off from the port, arrange it at least a day beforehand.

This is a hard question to answer as it largely depends on personal preferences. However, most travelers choose to knock out the most famous ones first: Mykonos and Santorini.
